Old School Death Metal band with roots in both Czech and UK; Symbtomy, Release first Demo! Out Now!

SYMBTOMY is an old school death metal band from Czech and United Kingdom. SYMBTOMY dust off the old practices of the 90’s and pay tribute to the bands from the same era.

DEMO#1 contains three songs in the style of Swedish death metal and is enriched by a variety of very interesting guests – Jonny Pettersson (WOMBBATH), Ralf Hauber (REVEL IN FLESH) and Johan Jansson (INTERMENT). The sound of the recording should be a synonym for the analog sound of the 90’s, despite the fact that the guitars were recorded by re-amping, the result is a mix of modern and old analog technologies + classic boss-HM2 pedal.

Symbtomy are currently preparing to record a full-length album, which should be released in the second half of 2021.

Check out their demo on youtube and BandCamp.

The demo starts of strongly, with the perfect vibe that the genre contains. The songs make you start head-banging instantly, but also have influences that speak directly to it’s listeners. From straight-forward drums, to a brilliant mix of clean and heavy guitar-pieces.

Add a powerful voice of the lead singer into the ingredients list, and there you have it: A masterpiece!

Track list:

  1. The Sound Of Perverse Thoughts
  2. The Taste Of Human Trophy
  3. … And The Knife Cut Surgically

Symbtomy is:

Djevy: Guitars

Martin: Vocals
