In loving memory, chapter three: Chester Bennington.

When you were standing in the wake of devastation,
When you were waiting on the edge of the unknown,
And with the cataclysm raining down,
Insides crying, “Save me now”
You were there, impossibly alone

It are four sentences from Linkin Park’s song: Iridescent and they embody the feelings that all fans of the famous musicians felt when they heard about the news that singer-songwriter and multi-musician: Chester Bennington passed away.

It was a dark moment in the history of music, when the world found out about Chester’s untimely death. Chester was a singer-songwriter with an exceptional voice and voice-range. He had the ability to perform his songs at a voice range that many other artists could not even dream of reaching, and that made Chester Bennington an extraordinary artist.

He always had his heart at the right place and did not ran away if someone asked him for help. For being a famous artist around the entire world, he was always at the right place, at the right time, and that made him the extraordinary person that he was.

With famous songs like: Crawling, Numb, Somewhere I Belong, In In The End, and so many more, Linkin Park became one of the most iconic rock-bands of all time. And even now, with Chester not longer with us, the songs are still popular and to the die hard fans of the band these are undying songs that they will cherish in their hearts forever.

Chester Bennington also worked together with many other artists and did not stay within the rock scene to do so. This gained him a lot of good friends who, in his absence, made many tribute songs for the late musician.

He was a kind, loving, caring man who loved his family, friends and of course also his fans. In the last years of his life, he went through many struggles and that caused that he eventually decided to hang himself to death. Today, four years and three months later, he is still being missed by his friends, family and fans. But his legacy will continue on into infinity. That is a certain fact.
